We are NOW Hiring for a Full Time Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist to join our team!!

We’re looking for a Full time Accounts Payable/ Payroll Specialist to play a vital role in the accounting and tax support of multiple
small businesses. We are looking for a reliable and precise professional to help us
properly maintain our clients’ accounting records. We are seeking an experienced
candidate who can work closely with our team and clients to ensure projects are
completed timely and accurately.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain records according to general accepted accounting principals including the
recordation of general journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash
management, and reconciliation of bank statements
• Data-entering invoices for payment
• Establishing and maintaining confidential employee files and employer/business files
• Compiling payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k)
• Contacting various clients for any missing information
• Retrieving payroll management reports from payroll software system
• Producing and preparing financial reports for Manager
• Providing an exceptional level of customer service to both clients and team members
• Recording and classifying transactions in accounting software
• Problem solving issues and discrepancies in accounting records
• Analyze and organize financial data into usable information
• Payroll and Tax form preparation
• Helping to create and improve the best possible processes internally and for our clients
• Problem solving issues and discrepancies in accounting records
• Establishing and maintaining confidential employee files and employer/business files
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
• Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable/Payroll experience preferred
• Minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• General knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
• Accuracy and attention to detail is absolutely required, as well as a track record of
reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Excellent computer skills using 10-Key by touch and ability to type 40 WPM
• Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
• Attention to detail with exceptional level of accuracy
• Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with
deadline pressures
• Demonstrated ability in dealing directly with clients
• Experience with automated accounting programs and systems
Other skills preferred but not required:
• QuickBooks Online Certified/Experience

Salary is between $30K-$35K

Must be able to work 8am-4pm
